This was a very special place to dine. The food was amazing and definitely homemade. The family was very welcoming. They made us feel like we were family. I definitely recommend!

Two for supper. Great location: Easy parking outside the old town gates [2 minutes] - next to the Cathedral in a pretty little square. Lovely old building with a garden and attractive decor. Unusual 'a la carte' of mostly traditional dishes cooked with an expert and original twist. The iberico ham, house salad, carrilleras, entraña and dessert were excellent as was the price/quality relationship. The maitre/chef and his partner, were attentive and charming. We can thoroughly recommend La Canoniga

Amazing experience . The owner’s warm welcome made us feel right at home. The dish I had was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and beautifully prepared. I highly recommend this place for both the food and the hospitality!

The young waiter working was very kind, accommodating, and patient even with my slow Spanish. I believe his name was Joaquin, as that’s what the check says. The food was AMAZING. I had the artichoke and I would highly recommend it to vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. The ‘foiocchi de pera’ and ‘serrdura’ were incredible. The rest of my party also commented on how delicious the food and wine was. The atmosphere was great as well, with soothing music and beautiful art.

This meal made our whole trip worth it. It would be an understatement to say that the Huevos Rotos con Farinato are one of the best I've had in my life. We also had burrata salad, which was amazing. Definitely you should try this place.
